WE'RE HIRING! The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Bailiff. The Bailiff is responsible for maintaining order and security in the courtroom, ensuring the safety of judges, court personnel, jurors, and the public. This position plays a critical role in the smooth and lawful operation of court proceedings. Prior Law Enforcement, Corrections, Military, or Court Security is preferred. CHAPTER 33

FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES, AND OTHER DEADLY WEAPONS

Pursuant to 18-3302(6), Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will only issue a Concealed Carry License to applicants that reside in Lincoln County. If you are turning in an application for renewal and have moved, it must be applied for in the county of your residence.

New Applicants will need to show up in person to fill out the application and complete the fingerprinting process. Click HERE for the Idaho Enhanced Training Certificate of Completion

To renew an existing license click HERE for the application. Once completed (please be sure to fill out ALL of the boxes that apply), please mail in with a check or money order in the amount of $38.00 or show up in person.

Fingerprints will be done by appointment only!

PLEASE BE AWARE that if you have kids, and you have not brought someone along to watch your kids, we will not proceed with your fingerprints.

COMPLETION OF THIS TRAINING SATISFIES THE IDAHO EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR HANDGUN SAFETY TRAINING TO OBTAIN YOUR BASIC CONCEALED WEAPONS LICENSE. AFTER COMPLETING THIS COURSE YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR SHERIFF.

The Sheriff’s Office charges a fee of $75.00/per person to serve papers. We will need a Letter of Instruction as well as at lease one copy of the papers to be served. If you do not have your own Letter of Instruction, the link below will provide you with the proper document.
